After stopping overnight in the harbour camper corner, we drove to a campsite which is just south of Århus.

Today we walked along the river Gudenåen into Silkeborg.

There were lots of Vikings canoeing down the river today. Look at this Viking mum!

So what do you do with dangerous 250 year old oak and beech trees right next to the river bank?

Today we drove to Agger on Denmark’s NW coast, next to the Thy national park.

Agger is a small village, the houses widely spaced.

And this is how you sell your fantastic knitted products. Just drop the money in the letterbox.

Gerhild’s latest Danish friend. He’s called “ Ask Fra Ashøj”.

It takes about half an hour to walk from the camp site to the beach.

There’s a good sandy beach but the wind whipped up some dramatic looking waves. This area has a nickname “cold Hawaii”, saying that there are surfable waves but that it’s damn cold.

Agger seems to have been a small fishing village before the holiday homes arrived. This monument would fit in any sea-going fishing village I suppose.

The beach looks nice and sandy if occasionally interrupted by bunkers built on Hitler’s orders. He was apparently afraid that the allies would land here…

Today we drove to Deep Forest Art Land.

The forest itself and the stream flowing through it are really beautiful. What a place for young artists to practice their craft.

What is he he doing up there? It’s magic this forest.

Today we drove to Rendsburg to meet up with Ulrike & Jojakim and to visit Nordart and monkey about a bit.

Today we asked Bear what he’d like to do on the last day. “Go to the seaside” he said, so off we went.
