We had some sad news today, so we went for a thoughtful walk in the forest where we bumped into a thoughtful stone.

19 Sept to Odenwald Idyll
Windy goodbye to Edertal.
After Gerhild popped to the baker’s in her pyjamas to buy some cake for later on.
Stopped at Butzbach for lunch.
The sun was blazing in the Odenwald when we arrived. Just right for coffee and Edertal cake.

16 Sept Edersee
The baker drove his van onto our parking site and blew his horn. Gerhild jumped into her shoes and bought some fresh bread.
After breakfast we strolled up the road to see the dam which created the Edersee and which most Brits will know if you mention the Dam Busters or Barnes-Wallis and his bouncing bomb.
Nice camp site for the next few days. Campingplatz Am Linge.
